Dr. Margery Blackie was the first homopath who introduced this term and published a book name "CLASSICAL HOMOEOPATHY". Blackie used to send patients to allopathic surgeons and not only used mixed remedies but also simultaneously used allopathic and homopathic remedies. For example in pneumonia she prescribed penicillin and lachesis both at the same time. It shows what is classical anyway? Sure!

All this rhetoric against everybody else is similar to puritonical religious cult. Some people go for surgery yet they scold it. That is not much of a deal. But, in fact historically so called classical homopathy has been racist and discriminatory. Look how Nux Vom is for black and Pulsatilla is is for blue eye blonde people. Sepia is brunette. I have read almost all the famous authors in homeopathy and found that it carried this tendency consistently. One guy wrote a book about heart diseases and called Russians and native Americans as "primitive people". Hering thinks people who do not drink, like Muslims, are idiot. Pierce in his materia medica under Nux Vomica describes bad odor from patient. He says the odorin a Nux Vomica is similar to a home that have been recently been vacated by Black family. In one book, not related to homopathy, (Mismeasure of Man) Ira Gould writes that Hindus' brains are smaller than average. Do we have to base our medicine on such concepts? If the very
fundametnal theories of a medicine is hurting humenity how will it heal them or at least how it can claim to heal them? Blackie suggests that Hahnemann outrage against other medical professions was because he was driven out from one town where he was practicing. While traveling his cart had an accident and his family members were injured so he grew very angry and kept this anger for whole life.

If we can only learn from "perfect people", people without any sins or
foolishness or error, well... Since I've yet to meet anyone like that, i
guess I'd have not even learned to talk yet! (Some would call that an
improvement, LOL!)

the old works read because most of the information is as useable now
as it was then. So only homeopathy see these old references to sex,
race, and religion.
The attitudes expressed were those of 100 years ago. There is no
reason to get offended at them now.
As for Pulsatilla being for blue eyed blonde people-- you obviously
haven't read the lecture where Kent says that since Pulsatilla has
never, in a proving, turned a brunette into a blonde, or in clinical
work has never done the reverse, that using that to prescribe upon is
folly. BUT... in HIS experience (and this is in 1900 USA) a good
number of blonds respond to Pulsatilla. That was the genotype he was
seeing.
I remember at my first homeopathic training, we had a doc from India
in the class. After talking about Pulsatilla, Dr. Williams asked the
gentleman, "So, how often do you prescribe Pulsatilla for blondes in
India?" The doc laughed, and said, "For blondes? I never see them.
But for others, I prescribe a lot of Pulsatilla!"
That is Blackie's interpretation. Read Haehl. Hahnemann had a great
hatred of the medical profession long before he was driven out of
town.

Nux vomica stinks, even terrible, from the mouth, due to dyspeptic phenomena
in the stomach.
Hahnemann had a coach-accident and one of his children even died on that
occasion. He hated the other doctors because he understood, being very
far-sighted, that they were doing many mistakes and nonsense and that they were not
willing to learn or hear or open for something new.
Classical homeopathy does NOT operate with complex remedies and works and is
practiced after a precise plan. "Other" homeopathies are rubbish and unproven,
subject of speculation and money-making.
I do not know who you actually are or what your level of knowledge is, but
I'd friendly suggest you defer in the future from this kind of remarks and give
it a second thought BEFORE you put such thing on-line.
