Hello!

My daughter is supposed to go on a small plane ride tomorrow, and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a remedy for motion sickness, or should I just try to find some dramamine?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does she usually get motion sickness?
I have found Cocculus good where there is side-to side (rocking)
motion, Tabacum where there is overwhelming sickness, and Petroleum
for mostly an aggravation from back and forward motion.
Cocculus and Tabacum are much worse from even thinking about food,
while Petroleum has an empty feeling and is better for eating.
Cocculus does not always have vomiting-- it can just have a dizziness
with a desire to lie down. Tabacum usually has deathly nausea and
vomiting.
Those would be the three remedies to consider, with Cocculus being
the foremost.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I appreciate it. I'll send her a little care package to take with her.

Thanks again!

13.5.4.
While I agree being kinda late, it might however help you for the future.
Motionsickness - take a look at Ca-carbonicum and Belladonna (closely related
anyway), Acidum salicylicum and Tabacum nicotiana. These are the main ones.
In your special case, I suppose Ca-carbonicum or Belladonna will do it.
Kind regards, Dr. medic Viorel V. Bucur.

Hi Jennifer

The only remedy I'm aware of is Cocculus Indicus.

Cocculus is the major motion sickness remedy. For excessive sickness
(like sea-sickness), Tabacum.
