Dear Shannon woops! sorry about name mix up.and to Andy who also answered.
Please let me qualify this is a variation of vannier that I personally in my
experience use, for this sort of condition.
Ok bone destruction has to have a lesional remedy low potency once a day
that matches the sensation of disintegration.i.e what it feels like.Pot low
/high frequency.
A drainage remedy once a day this has to match the action of the
disintegration. low potency.i.e. what it is affecting in the surrounding
tissue. i.e. is it red /inflamed / cold etc. Pot low /high frequency.
A miasmic that matches the nature of destruction of bone.
this is day 17 of TX.ie. would be more than likely syphilitic / tubercular /
carcinosin Potency you decide on the basis of "like" i.e. match to severity
of condition.
A constitutional that is inclusive of all of the above sensation, action,
nature plus the emotional of a constitutional. This remedy is given day 21
of TX.
Why all of the above and not just one remedy/ b/c in my experience the bone
destruction has to have
1.the lesional to deal with pain.
2.Drainage to deal with body inflammation.
3.Miasmic to deal with further decay.
4.Constitutional to deal with how the condition is affecting the person.
Think separately and concentrate on each bit. In your knee prescribe for the
knee. prescribe on the basis of "like" , after 6 months the person can go
back to just a constitutional and it will hold. This is just based on my
experience. i worked with back conditions etc for 25years before introducing
homoeopathy andthe degree of pain and inflammation and further decay and
emotional have to all be respected. Severe osteoporosis is very painful so
prescribe for the pain etc.
This is the most I have ever contributed to this group so I must admitt to
being scared of all the possible debate of one remedy versus the
constitutional but I must say that vannier is also prescribing for the
presenting symptoms.and I am off for a few days so I will miss all the
feedback!!!!!!
