Announcing Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association

Dear Doctors and Friends,
I have the honour of announcing proudly the launch of "Indian
Homoeopathic Medical Association" (IHMA), a professional body of devoted
homoeopaths. The association in fact, is the re-birth of Kerala
Homoeopathic Medical Graduates Association (KHMGA). With a rich ancestry
of Eleven years the association was ever in the forefront of upholding
the interests of the system. Continuing the work to a National Platform,
IHMA is offering an elaborate plan to improve the quality of the
practitioners as well as the system of homoeopathy. As a major step
through the association is offering associate membership to all
qualified homoeopaths included in the 2nd and 3rd schedule of CCH act
India as well as licensed and qualified homoeopaths from other
countries.
The inaugural ceremony was held in an elegant function at Trivandrum,
the capital city of Kerala, 'God's Own Country', on the 4th day of the
4th month of the 4th year of 2000. Prof. M. Abdul Lathief inaugurated
the function which included the Annual Conference and a National
Homoeopathic Seminar. Dr. Isaac former Principal of Govt. Homoeopathic
Medical College, Trivandrum, lighted the traditional Kerala lamp making
IHMA into being.
Dr. M.G Oommen is the National President of IHMA and the Secretary
General is Dr. S. Sreejeev. The National Finance Secretary is Dr. Sudin
Kumar.
