Yes, I have had the same thing too. I have just quickly deleted all this
strange mail, and got the McAfee anti-virus programme installed to replace
Norton; and it does seem to have cleared things up.

No need for an apology, Shannon's email seems to explain what these things
are doing. I find it hard to fathom the mentality of people who are doing
this.

Anyone got a suggestion for a remedy for people who transmit computer
viruses?

How about trimming your replies? The reply you sent was 9K long and
included SIX other message footers (i.e., "ATTENTION PLEASE: minutus,
etc...."
