Dear Rochelle, I was just thinking about what you posted yesterday? about a
case of thrush and there was also a lot of fear around the pregnancy, weepy
person, currently has leucorrhea + I can't remember the rest and don't have
time to get from the archives.

Anyway, have you thought about Borax - the fear (in the adult) often centres
around labour, there is a dread of this which is connected to the downward
motion that this remedy is so well known for. There are episodes of thrush
and the leucorrhea is white like that of eggs.

Thanks for that!! I have actually given her Calc 200 as it has the fears and I thought that the ice crunching could be Pica.

I have pasted what I wrote below in case you had time and felt you wanted to look at it again. However someone reminded me that ice crunching can mean anaemia and I think she is anaemic. She is taking Fluorodix.

Dear Rochelle, For some reason I had it in my mind that you had already
given Calc that is why I suggested Borax.

So, Calc carb 200 is your choice. I think this is a good example again of
what needs to be cured. The ice craving, if it is linked to the food
cravings that are common with pregnancy - is this really important, is it
part of what needs to be cured. It might be a temporary state and linked
only with the pregnancy. The thing is you don't really know and I think you
should and also be more sure of whether she is anaemic or not - that really
would be important to the case.

I would have been tempted to delve into the ice much more to clarify. It is
very easy to take what, on the surface, seems a characteristic sx and base
the case on this. Even though ice crunching could be called a special
symptom (makes me cringe just thinking about it), you need to know what is
behind it. What is it about crunching ice that she likes, what function does
it serve, what sensations does it give her, how much of it is she doing, is
it compulsive or by choice, is there an emotional link - e.g. it could be
equated with 'gritting the teeth', getting geared up to painful situations,
i.e. the birth etc. Don't guess, you have to know, be curious.
