Advanced Topics in Homeopathy --Interactive Online Course
Announcing HOMEOTALK, a new class for students of homeopathy in an
interactive online course.
Students will meet weekly in an online classroom for lecture and group
discussion.
The class is open to everyone at any level of expertise. This class will
cover advanced topics but from a beginning perspective, so no experience is
needed. Main focus of the lectures will be the nature of healing and homeopathic
perspectives on health. The class will address the philosophies and practice of
homeopathy, and the use of homeopathy both clinically, and in everyday life.
1. What is disease? What is to be cured?
2. Miasms- what they are, how to find them in cases and how to treat
3. Animal vegetable mineral, or not? New ideas in materia medica from India
and Europe.
4. Levels of cure. Case taking insights
5. New Remedies, New Provings How to study materia medica.
The class will be an interactive lecture. We will meet in an online lecture
hall for 1 1/2 hours a week. During this time, I will lecture and answer
questions. There will be time for group discussion. A log of class will be available
to registered students. Students in time zones which preclude attendance can
read the class notes at their convenience.
All the material needed will be covered during the classes. Books relevant to
the topics will be reviewed. There will be optional reading recommendations
each week.
Class will meet for 5 weeks on Thursdays from 5-6:30 PST. (8 PM, EST).
Starting March 25th.
(Morning classes will be scheduled in the future for those in different time
zones.)
Cost $75 for 5 week session

Bio: Melanie Grimes, RSHom, (NA), CCH began studying Hahnemann Organon over
30 years ago, and has never stopped. She has edited homeopathic journals for
the past twelve years and has lectured at international homeopathic conferences
and universities. Her work appears in "Homeopathy Today", "Simillimum", "The
Homeopath", "LINKS", and "The American Homeopath". She has published three
provings, which are included in MacRepertory,Radar, Synthesis, Complete
Repertory, Encyclopedia Homeopathica, ReferenceWorks, and Cara. She lives in Seattle
Washington with her husband and two sons.
