I have a grossly overweight patient who has lymphoedema. He has done well mentally and emotionally on the Rx I gave him and he has lost some weight. His lower legs swell up from about noon. Can anyone suggest a Rx ,tissue salt etc which may stop the this swelling. It is not hot, is normal colour and is helped by keeping his legs up.
Regards

That might just be mechanical compression of the fat upon the lymphatics...........

Hi Rochelle,
I have used Hoang nan 30C for what you have described, it acts on the
lymphatic system and the spleen (the seat of the lymphatics).

Lymphatic drainage according to Vodder, which is a specific type of massage that helps the lymphatic circulation and of course make him loose weight.

Dear Alva,
Why is the spleen the seat of the lymph? Sorry to be so ignorant.

Ellen,
You need to study physiology.
Purchase a book on anatomy, Gray's is a good one, and you will be able to
memorize all the systems in the Human body.
You can ask me questions like this all day, but if I answer you it will just
pass right out.
Go get the book and study it. The Library has it for free.
