Dear Patricia, there must be countless remedies that come within the
'nurture' issues - the Calcareas, the Magnesiums, Carcinosin, Graphites,
Hippomanes, Strontiun carb, Rhem, Chamomilla, the other Lacs, the Snakes -
just to mention a few. I think one has to be really careful how any one
particular remedy is 'promoted' as it tends to prompt routine and/or lazy
prescribing and we move away from the vital individuality of each case.
best, Joy

Dear Jayne
So human milk has a creative potential in that it develops all the infant's
biologic systems. It helps to finish off the infant's development such that
s/he will be best able to survive in a healthy state.
In my experience Lac-h is useful in instances of IBS and all manner of
allergies simply because it goes back to create new healthy tissues;
something that didn't happen because of early weaning onto a milk that was
not species-specific.I often use 7C for this or the LMs.
At a more constitutional level it helps to define the Ego and assists the
patient to get a balanced perspective on seeing that his/her individual
needs are as important as those of others. In that sense it allows
individuals to define their reality in a more meaningful way as, after the
Rx, they go out and make things happen for themselves instead of sitting
back and waiting for others to do it for them.
In this instance I use a water potency of 1M given at the new or full moon
which is a time of < for Lac-h (same as Carc to which it is also
complementary).
Hope this helps
best wishes
Patricia Hatherly.
