Soya and carbonated water

Hello all

Some time ago there was a thread about soya and someone pointed to a website
or two with information about it. One of my clients has recently been
advised by a nutritionist to start eating and drinking soya products because
they contain phytoestrogens and they would help with her menstrual problems.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

On a different note, the same client was advised to drink a litre of
carbonated water a day on the basis it would help keep her bones healthy - I
have been taught that carbonated drinks actually leach calcium out of the
bones, so is it different with water or is the advice wrong?

:-S a bit confused...

Thanks!
Eleana

there is some controversy around soy these days with some folks saying that soy is not good for
you at all, being hardly digestible. and carbonated water is supposed to dehydrate your cells--i am
always being told this. i would question the nutritionist about where she/he is coming from with these
recommendations.
