Anyone treat a reaction to Lariam - that terrible drug they give people to
take when going to Malaria countries
It should be OFF the market - this drug is HORRENDOUS and they still keep
giving it out - don't tell anyone - then don't have a clue when that is
what they are reacting to and haven't a clue how to treat!

I got an urgent email with symptoms of a father-in-law who had just been to
Africa and took malaria pills and many vaccines.
The little I got is a typical reaction to Lariam that sometimes takes a
long time to go away and maybe not then......

panic, etc.........

I'm waiting to get a full report from daughter in law. But thought I'd
email quick to see if anyone has had experience with this
Of course I'll treat on totality, but just wondering if anyone else is out
there

Tell everyone you know NEVER to get this drug

I have treated a case of Lariam in a young fit soldier just back from
Afghanistan two years ago who had similar symptoms with the ones you are
describing Sheri. I used his constitutional remedy which was Aurum and also
Emergency Essence (its the equivalent of Rescue Remedy in the Australian
Bush Essences range). Over the year I have treated him he has had other rx
