[CHC] Homeopathic scanner? vega testing??

In regard to the homeopathic scanner, the following says it all.

Could have been something called a Vega Test, although they don't actually scan with this but use one of the acupuncture points on the hand (usually thumb) to detect imbalances.
Often incorrectly referred to as homeopathic because they use homeopathic remedies to correct imblances. By going through a series of tests they use homeopathic remedies - actually on the machine - and a dial indicates when you have the 'correct' one. I think there are several versions, with names other than vega, on the market.
Unfortunatetly, many of the practitioners have absolutely no training in homeopathy whatsoever - and sometimes in no other alternative or complemenaty therapy training.
