Unusual reaction?

Hi Friends,

Your thoughts on this please.

My mom is a pretty healthy 82 yrs old, walks daily and does well. (she
lives 350 miles from me, so I don't have a tremendous influence on her
medical treatment.)

She got the flu shot this year, and does most years.

She also got that 'cold' that's going around, into the chest that she was
able to
overcome without antibiotics, this a couple of weeks ago.

Recently she started on the runny nose, loose coryza type cold .

I sent her some flu remedy - Occilicoccinum 200C, because I was concerned
about her getting the flu, and had her make an aqueous dilution and take
a teaspoon.

Now, I have used this remedy prophalactically and for the flu in self,
lots of clients, etc. without a problem.

Ma got sick for 3 hourse, chills, fever, nausea, vomiting, etc after the
dose.

She says she was feeling 'fine' after that, and still has the runny nose.
Did Ma prove the remedy? Or do you think it possibly 'cleaned her out'?

I kinda tend to the 'clean out' theory due to the shots she had received
and the fact that she had not had this kind of symptomology for many,
many years.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Warmly, Maria

Hi Maria

My thought on it is, that the remedy probably cleared the flue shot however
it did not deal with the runny nose, could it be that Occiloccocinum does
not have runny nose as a symptom picture hence it can not cure.
