It is always difficult esp when she is your dear friend.

But we still have some 2 weeks - and I do not like giving up - I would speak
with her - you never know the tumours under proper treatment could go and
thus a major surgery and disfigurement would be avoided. What has she to
lose? Nothing! What she to gain?? The Lord knows.

However, you may wish to refer her to another homoeopath.

I haven't been asked and I am not offering to treat her constitutional. She
has made her decision and the last thing she needs at this minute is for me
too persuade her otherwise. She is confident with the surgeon and that after
the surgery she will carry on her life. I will be around to listen. What I
am willing to do is to prescribe acutely for the operation to help her
recover as quickly as possible.

Being a friend I have only ever treated her for acute things. I have always wanted her to see another homeopath but money has been tight (maybe translate that as she would see better things in her opinion to spend her money on) . She has had lots of free counselling in the recent past from the NHS which she reckoned has been benificial. She works for the NHS!! I wouldn't dream of suggesting anything to her in her obviously vunerable state as if she had wanted she would have asked. I am also leaving the country for a couple of weeks next week and won't be around until she returns from hospital. I just hope one of her friends or maybe even one of her sons will stay with her. She will only be in a week.
