taking this Rx that he considered him dearer than

day he fought with him. He suddenly started to stop
showing the almost servile repect that he used to show
earlier. Started to criticise his counsellor friend
for almost every small thing that was wrong in his
life. Obviously, this led to an explosion and now they
have stopped talking to one another."

I am on digest mode on this list, so my apologies if I am repeating or going

I have also seen this in a Nat.mur. case - and viewed this as healthy: as
an un-compensation. They were moving from dependency to independency. It
is sometimes the case that the person who is supportive whilst they are at
their lowest becomes the target of their distain once they are no longer in
need of the containment of therapy - which can go to the extreme of having
no wish to surround themselves with reminders of their past self (not
healthy).

I presume you repeated the Nat.mur. till it has exhausted its action? As it
looks like his 'picture' has changed. Are these rubrics any help?
