Dear Colleagues,

I have a patient with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.
She has an interesting symptom which is " cough alternates with skin itching without any eruptions".
I couldnt find any related rubric and remedy in synthesis.
I will be gratitude for any helps?
Kind Regards,
Nader

Dear Nader, is there any periodicity involved - you might need to use that
as a way of expanding the rubric choice. For example Psorinum has a winter
cough (often due to suppressed eruptions) and the itching sometimes comes
during the summer, without the eruption. Also, has the eruption been
suppressed in the past. RA usually has a history of deep suppression
somewhere in the case. Sulphur also has the alternation and the eruption
doesn't have to be present but the itching will be.

Allergies can mimic this alternating state and are often involved with RA -
you might need to consider this aspect.

I would especially look at Ledum which covers RA, has alternating rheumatic
conditions with the cough and skin sx.

If you cannot find a more specific rubric you might need to study some of
the remedies that have alternation as a strong keynote.

Hope useful.

Best wishes, Joy
