preventing sloughing in a dog's tail (and therebypreventing amputation)

Post by Shannon Nelson »

I agree!!!!
Definitely need an acute/trauma remedy, and that should be based upon
*changess* from his prior state -- changes in e.g. temperament, prefs for
food, drink, temperature, etc,and as you say, comcomitants, modalities, all
that. And since she says he is "stressed", I'd think there are some clues
there, as to how he's expressing his "stressed" state, what has changed?

If he is still feeling terror, I'd try treating that too, and sooner rather
than later! Aconite, Stram, or ??? Would you like to talk any more about
that?

MIND; FEAR; general; escape, with desire to: bell., bry., coloc., cupr.,
dig., merc., puls., stram., sulo-ac., verat.

MIND; AILMENTS from; fright or fear; fear of the fright still remaining:
acon., bell., merc., nat-m., Op., verat.

MIND; AILMENTS from; fright or fear; ordeal, of an: Arg-n., Gels.

And many other possibilities...

Actually, I wonder if arg-nit could help at this point to calm him down???
(Only a thought; would need more info, of course.)
