It is evident that computers play an important role in our daily routine however
they are also very essential for the development of an individual as well as a
nation. Let us take the example of medical science. Its progress is due to
computers. If there were no computers doctors would have had big libraries. Now
they can feed all the data and information in one single “compact disc.” They
even have the facility that they just have to enter the symptoms of the disease
and its cure and recommended medicine are shown on the screen within a few
microseconds. Now a question arises “If there were NO Computers?” For the answer
of this question we shall have to go back in time. Let us talk of 15th century
when the Chinese just invented “Abacus”. This made calculations much easier.
However if it would have been destroyed at that time we would not have seen
these computers. With this regard we would have not felt its need even in 21st
century. But now when all this promotion has taken place, without computers our
life would be like bird without wings, river without water, desert without sand,
or even like sun without light. In short without computers our lives would have
been very boring. There would have been no refreshment. If there were no
computers even I would not have been able to write mail for mailing list. We can
say that our life without computers would have been like a balloon without air,
fire without heat and night without stars! Here I conclude, if computer can
affect our health and then at the same time we are getting advantages of
computer.
