'RADAR' software from India

Hello Minutus friends,

This is Gregory Pais, ND, writing for WholeHealthNow, North American
distributors of RADAR homeopathic software. Though I no longer regularly
post to this list, any of you that have been on this list from its inception
will remember my contributions.

I wanted to respond to the email offering entitled “RADAR Software from
India”. Over the past 4.5 years WholeHealthNow has revolutionized the sale
of homeopathic software in North America. There are many reasons why RADAR
and Encyclopedia Homeopathica are used by more homeopaths than any other
programs. Our standard of always free, excellent technical support and
customer service has compelled the rest of the industry to play catch-up. It
takes an immense amount of resources to provide this quality of service to
our customers. This “Software from India” is indeed bootleg, in other words,
distributed and sold illegally. There is no guarantee provided, unless the
person who is sending these emails intends on personally providing it. There
is no technical support, customer service, or training available to help one
if they purchase from this source.

If one were to purchase from this source they would be stuck with a program
that they can never upgrade. By the end of November the newest version of
our program, RADAR 9, will be released. This release presents new features
and enhancements that no other software offers. Over 20 repertories will be
available, including for the first time, the Complete Repertory. Now you can
search Synthesis and the Complete within one superb interface.

If you know someone that is thinking of buying this bootleg offering from
India don’t let them waste their money. It will not serve them well and will
definitely not promote homeopathy in any fashion.

If you have any questions please contact

Peace,
Gregory

Dear Greqory
I m telling you RADAR sold via India by distributors there is NOT
illegal and buyers are registered with RADAR when we buy from Jains (
maybe there are other distributors) and those sold via India are
upgradeable and have full free support from Archibel as well as the
distrbutor BUT you have to be in Asia to buy from the distributors from
India.

I recently asked about buying a USB hasp because my notebook does not
have a parallel port and was quoted $175 for it, after signing some
declaration and , I was also offered an upgrade for an additiona $200 to
RADAR 8, the 9 is not yet out.

I would appreciate it if the distributors and others from the US and
Europe would stop saying things they are not in full knowledge of.

Dear Suriya,

The person who is writing to Minutus with these proposed copies for sale is making offers to those of us in the
USA, Canada and other countries Outside of their Territory...

Knowing/purposefully selling Outside of their Territory is considered knowingly fraudulent and boot-leg. I am not
attempting to claim anything else. Here is the Official Dealer List
http://www.archibel.com/contact/representatives/

IF the original offer specified the territory available for Shipping To as what is REALLY an Internationally
Acceptable Fair Trade Practice then these posts would not be occurring... I hope that this clarifies the situation
better for you and everyone who is interested worldwide in buying these "Made for India & Middle East" packages.
Thank you for allowing me to further clarify.

best as always, Patti

Hi Gregory,

Are you saying that homeopaths in e.g. India are expected to pay same price
as homeopaths in US? To me that would seem unreasonable to the point of
lunacy, and would simply price nearly all of them out of your market
entirely, which I'm sure is not what you intend.

This is an interesting ethical dilemma: When the differences in costs and
income between various countries are so extreme, it is not reasonable for an
international community (such as the homeopathic community) to fail to make
appropriate allowances. On the other hand it must be a tremendous
temptation for US folks to say, "Well I can't afford it either and surely
I'm as entitled as an Indian homepath..."

I don't know what the answer is, but surely the answer would *not* be to
insist that those earning $1,000 per year (for instance) should pay the same
as those earning vastly more?

I'm curious whether there are other software programs on the market that
have different prices for folks in different countries? I know that
airlines use differential pricing, and I assume that other international
industries must do the same.

I'll be fascinated to hear further thoughts on this issue!
Best wishes,
Shannon
