NBWS Antibiotics/ Leaky Gut

Hello everyone,
I could use a little advice here. I just saw a woman
who was given antibiotics for acne in 1989 (doctor
built her up to 3 pills/ 3 times a day for over 3
months). She left her dermatologist because there had
been no improvement. Then in 1996 she was diagnosed
with "leaky gut syndrome" and can no longer eat
gluten, eggs or dairy without becoming congested. My
question is, after having taken the full case, I
believe she requires Staph but do not know if I need
to look for a remedy more specific to overuse of
anitbiotics or if her constitutional should allow her
to repair it over time. Are there certain remedies
that specifically useful there? This was her chief
complaint.
Thanks in advance,
Fran

I would start with the indicated remedy. If that doesn't work, then you
could look at nosodes, bowel nosodes, NBWS, etc. (I'd think it would also
make sense also to have her supplement probiotics, thru fermented foods
and/or broad spectrum supplements, i.e. not just acidophilus or bifidus.)

I have used Staph LM1, 2, 3 etc., with great success for intestinal
complaints where indicated. So, if you feel Staph is the indicated remedy
and you want to go genty, maybe you could look into LMs.

Dear Frances
It would seem that this state has resulted from a major suppression, so one
dose of Sulphur to open the case could be a good place to start.
Pulsatilla is a good Rx for NWS anti biotics but it would have to fit. When
you say "congested" are you referring to intestinal bloat or to upper
respiratory tract/mucous build-up?
Shannon's suggestions re diet are important, I think, and probably a bowel
nosode will be needed at some stage of the treatment.

Patricia - Could you please give me the reasoning behind this - is it the
discharges?

Dear John
I was first prompted to use this as a rubric from Murphy's rep (chapter on
Toxicity) where several Rx are so listed.
As always, it's a matter of if the totality fits...and it doesn't mean that
after antibiotics Puls will always be the Rx, but I have found it to
commonly be so in children.
In my clinical experience part of the totality for the prescription of Puls
with [antibiotic
