I was not being facetious - I am deadly serious.

For the avoidance of doubt - Homoeopathy is about returning a sick body back
on to the road of health.

I think I have adequately established that in Homoeopathic philosophy being
Fertile is healthy.
Being Sterile is not.

To effect birth control, one is selecting either permanently or for a short
term to be in effect sterile.
This may be through abstinence of sex, timing, chemical, surgical or barrier
methods.

But this has nothing to do with homoeopathy, although the after effects of
it, may.

Fertility could also be relative.

A colleague was treating a woman who was not getting pregnant despite tries
of homoeopathy etc.

Sometime later she left her partner and soon after one month of meeting
another man was pregnant. Tests had shown that the first partners was able
to produce sufficient sperms.

So perhaps she was 'rejecting' the first partner's sperms despite the wish
to become pregnant. Her VF was having none of it.

So while admitting that the issue of 'Fertility' is complex, I do not think
Birth Control can be achieved successfully and safely by the use of
homoeopathy or indeed the allopathic use of potentised substances.

I am not advocating prescribing a remedy to make a woman sterile or
infertile.

No one is. Please do not oversimplify facetiously.

I am acknowledging the importance of being able to be self-determining about

one's fertility to one's health.

Soroush, just going to use your words to clearly illustrate my point:

Yes--the ovum does select which sperm will fertilize it. Your example is a
spot-on illustration of how sterility can actually be very, very healthy.

I don't think homeopathy can be used for birthcontrol either. That's not my
argument, never was. My statement had to do with the erroneous belief that
fertility = health. I've come across way too many patients who opted for
sterility--some the permanent kind, way back when they were young adults...
and have enjoyed healthy, strong, happy lives as a result of their decision.
These are women I know who, had they become pregnant or even had cause to
consider an abortion, would have become very ill as a result of their
supposedly "healthy" fertility.

As I said earlier, the birth control pill allows this same healthiness in
women--even if it is quite an invasive drug. Whether an individual woman
will become susceptible to this drug depends--just as it does for everything
else we think of as sick-making out there in the world. I do know that if
you want to stay healthy and live a full life, suppressing your sexuality
and sexual needs is no way to accomplish that aim. If your "fertility" gets
in the way of that, you'll suffer quite a bit.

My, my . . . I do not understand your hostility to anyone - Christian, Jew,
Muslim, atheist or whomever, and, especially, to a person who wants to use
information that has been provided in a public forum to help other people
and to advance the cause of homeopathy. I, for one, see your response as
cold and hurtful and, I now seriously question whether the information you
have provided has any merit at all as you clearly do not seem to be
motivated by love of or concern for humanity. Clearly, you see the world as
divided into those who are worthy of your help and those who are not. Who
else is on your hate list?
