Re: Shame on the terrorists/Hom Philosophy

Dear Colleagues
What happened yesterday was a blight on the history of mankind. And of
course so graphic and dramatic as it was brought direct to us by live TV.
It affected me to the degree that I was not able to work for about 6 hours
(& I am a workaholic!) and as you can see, it has made me concentrate on
this issue today.
On a personal basis, my deep sympathies go to all the families who lost
someone, to the injured and all the people who have been shocked deeply.
The scars on their lives will take a long time to heal if ever.
I also would like to give an appreciation of all those helpers and policemen
and ambulance crew who went to rescue and especially those who in this
process lost their own lives.
------
I think that we can regard terrorism as the Cancer within. And as such
terrorists are symptom of a major disease (dis-EASE) within our societies at
country and world levels.
If you study Kent's lecture's on Homeopathic Philosophy, he discusses the
issues at the centre of government (He is talking about Vital Force of
course) and uses the government of US as an example.
What is very important is what is happening at the centre of 'Government'.
I feel we have come full circle and we can use the analogy again but in
reverse.
What I wish to say is that life and health are Action & Reaction. It is the
measure of your reaction that shows whether you are healthy or sick.
To cure we must look at the causes. The fundamental cause and the exciting
cause and the maintaining cause.
We must try and understand what it is that drives a group of determined
people to do such an act as yesterday - or as on Sunday, what is it that drives
a 48 year old man with 8 children who had stood as mayoral candidate of his
community to finally decide that he needed to act as a suicide bomber.
Only when we have understood the reasons and taken relevant actions to
remove the causes of real and or perceived injustice that we are on the way
of curing this sickness within us.
It is of note to recognise that the primary target was the World Trade
Center. The recent move has been on 'free trade' where the law of Jungle
applies and the strong eat the weak - as opposed to 'Fair Trade' which would
allow 'symbiosis' of communities.
I have been reminded by a colleague just now, is it the same Mr Bush who is
now asking for collective action as the same Mr Bush that rejected the WORLD
environmental decisions and wanted to go it alone? One cannot have it both
ways!! One must understand that one's actions may be affecting the lives of
other people whose voice is unheard.
Unless the major world governments are able to collectively decide on their
need to understand these issues and take responsible decisions for humanity
rather than to line a few pockets and to keep a few of their friends
unjustly in power, I fear and predict that we will VERY SADLY witness more
and more horrific incidents as yesterday.
There is a very famous piece of Persian Poetry:
It talks about an eagle who having taken off from a cliff face is soaring in air and is proud of the fact that he has mastery of the sky and that the earth below is at his command.
All of sudden an archer hit him in one of his wings with an arrow.
While falling to earth, the eagle looks at the arrow and spots and eagles feather incorporated in it and says:
"It is from us that is upon us."
