homeopathic prophylaxis for meningitis?

Hello:
Just wondering if anyone has had experience or advice with respect to homeopathic prophylaxis for meningitis instead of getting the vaccination. I have a patient whose teenage daughter was asked to get the meningitis vaccine through school, but my patient was hesitant to do it. I'm not sure which causative agent(s) they were going to use for this (meningococci?) and I'm not sure why she was asked to get this vaccine. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,
JC

No experience Jennifer, no one has ever asked me!
But my notes suggest the nosode Meningoccoccol can be used.
I also have a note of a UK article published on 28th August 2000 that talked
about 11 deaths arising from the vaccine -so there is certainly cause for
concern, and justification for a homeopathic alternative - especially since
the report was followed by government delays of any link! Apparently, the
deaths were reported to the Medicines Control Agency but never made public
by the Government.

Would rather treat or do this IF there is meningitis around. The standard one we were taught at college was Belladonna 200 on the way to the hospital!!!

I agree wholeheartedly. And there are many remedies that would be
appropriate for Meningitis as well as considering what the individual cases
were showing as symptoms.
Read the reps and MM's - all the knowledge is there.

I would not disagree with this at all if someone phoned suspecting that a
child had meningitis, but Jennifer asked about prophylaxis and I would not
give Belladonna for this. Two different situations?

I use Meningococcus nosode 12c or 30c once or twice weekly depending....I do
muscle testing to ascertain what the person needs and how often.
I also look at the level of fear in the family. If there is fear, that needs
to be addressed.
Best regards,
Grace
