Chronic Cough

Dear TC
There is certainly cough listed under Bov as well as periodicity.
'Chronic cough' as a rubric has only a few remedies listed under it.
Using homoeopathy, it would be a mistake to specifically treat just the
cough. What is important is the totality of the other symptoms presented
based on careful evaluation.
I am not familiar with the notation LM0/50 - I am more used to LM01, LM02
etc

A homeopath prescribed Bovista LM 0/50 for my chronic cough which come back
at least once yearly. It will last for 1-3 mths.
The LM0/50 looks like very high potency to me. Is this understanding
correct?
I checked Boericke on Bovista and it does not say anything about chronic
cough. Is this mentioned in other materia medica?
