case of second male twin

Dear Rosemary, I have just been reading your second case and here are a few
thoughts.

In many ways much the same remedies come through as with the other twin
which is rational considering they are twins.

The emphasis I was picking up on were centred around the sense of being
diminished, small and the social anxieties that this caused. In the post
regarding the other twin we discussed remedies such as Lycopodium that has
'lost' its height, you had considered Baryta carb for the other twin and
this too has a strong sensation of being diminished, but I found it more
interesting that, again, Camphor and especially Agaricus, both have this
sensation - 'delusion small', 'delusion whole body diminished'.

Was he perhaps born second of the two twins and this has compounded that
feeling?

I found myself leaning heavily towards Agaricus for the following reasons as
well as the delusions about being small.

Agaricus can be fearless but cowardice is also a keynote.

Being 'mute' = refuses to talk, indisposed to talk, slow learning to talk,
taciturn.

The 'crawling' sensation is huge in Agaricus - it comes from the intense
burning and itching of the skin, often described as being like flea bites.
It is interesting that he chose baby powder to soothe his skin. Skin has a
range of intolerably itchy eruptions.

There is fear of suffocation because there is a sensation as if the chest is
too narrow which causes laboured breathing. Agaricus also has paroxysms of
yawning and a yawn is a gasp for air. It has a tubercular diathesis.

When he says "before I was born, I was more attractive and my parents made
me ugly" - this, again makes me wonder if he was second born and that before
he was born was the more attractive twin - his parents made it that way
because they conceived them. To boost that idea, Agaricus has 'exalted
notions of grandeur followed by depression and confusion'.

Agaricus has an impulse to fall backwards and lots of rolling and falling
back of the head - this might fit with him sleeping with his head bent
backwards.

This remedy also has an abusive mania (along with many other rx, Anacardium
and Camphor included). There is a lot of rage in Agaricus with a tendency to
throw things (the furniture?).

Agaricus is highly sexual but often impotent.

Copious sweat.

This is as far as I got. Fascinating cases, I hope you will be able to keep
us informed of how things go.

Best wishes as always, Joy
