Hi Liz
Virus' like bugbear take any address in the addressbook of the infected
computer as sender and as receiver of an infected message.
e.g. A's computer is infected. It sends an email to B with C as sender.
So B complains to C, but C is innocent, C's computer is clean and never sent
the message.
And by the way the email supposed to come from Microsoft with an important
patch is a virus. Microsoft never sends out emails. Updates and patches
need to be downloaded from the Microsoft webpage.
