Are you a homeopath? If so I can tell you that I have a lot of success with this type of problem by finding a remedy that covers the totality of their symptoms including the mental and emotional symptoms but have to admit that one remedy seems to stand out as being needed more than any other and that is Lycopodium.

Hi Atiq,

From your address, I gather that you are a homeopath. Can I ask whether
your remedies tried have been chosen more on basis of local symptoms
(symptoms of the digestion) or on basis of "totality" (including mentals,
generals, concomitants)? In my understanding this sort of problem would
usually need a "constitutional"/totality-based remedy to be very effective.
Would you like to put up a specific case?

Another thing to consider would be, what sort of diet are your patients on?
If their usual diet is e.g. high in fatty foods, low in veggies, fruits,
whole foods, then they might need attention to diet, as well as a
well-chosen remedy. What have you noticed about diet in your area?

Obviously the best long-term solution is the correct constitutional remedy. But for short-term use, you might try Natrum phosphoricum 6x, repeated as needed. This is the biochemic (tissue salt) form, and it's commonly used in India as a "homeopathic antacid."

Well, if we're going to settle for palliation, they might also consider
taking hydrochloric acid and/or digestive enzymes and/or taking vinegar in
water after eating. The things people usually take antacids for are more
commonly caused by too *little* acid in the stomach, so that when acid is
secreted for digestion, it meets the alkaline interior and "fizzes", causing
heartburn and general upsets. Plus if stomach acid is too low, digestion
and absorption are inefficient and you're more susceptible to germs...

I wonder whether nat-p helps normalize stomach acid, or just moderates the
ill effects of the imbalance, anyone know?

I have used the Biochemic Phosphastes (not only Kali Phos), all of them
together for palliating and reducing heartburn, and actually in several
cases this treatment has completely cured the individuals!

Kali Phos
Ferr Phos
Mag Phos
Nat Phos
Calc Phos

All in 6x taken 1-3 times daily.

Polypharmacy is unequivocally forbidden in homeopathy as contrary to
the dictates of the Law of the Single Remedy and the Law of
Similars; and prescribing FOR disease-diagnostic categories or FOR
pathognomic symptoms (rather than the uncommon/characteristic ones)
is also forbidden per the same two natural Laws of Therapeutics as
well as having been identified by Hahnemann as the primary error of
low-potency pseudo-homeopaths (LPHs) or allopathic homeopaths on p.
122 of THE CHRONIC DISEASES.

LPH is the lowest form of homeopathy used only by the lowest skum of
all the skum deserving of execution/exile, because this type of so-
called homeopathic practice ruins cases and makes people incurable.
