Counteracting Remedies Third Try.... :(

Hi all,

Well I hope this message doesn't show up three times, because
this is my third attempt at posting.... I am usually a lurker, but I
have a question regarding counteracting remedies. I will be
taking my daughter to a Homeopath in our area and she
mentioned that mint, coffee, strong smells especially certain
Essential Oils can counteract a remedy. I have seen this
mentioned in a book I have, but there was another Homeopath
on another list that didn't feel this way. I would like to hear from
others about their theories. I just want to be sure because I have
to watch toothpaste and such.

Thanks for any advice,
Lisa

I think it depends on the Homoeopaths beliefs. I think in some people these
thinks can interfere with the remedy. You can but fennel toothpaste at
health food stores, sometimes homoepaths sell them themselves.
I would still prescribe to someone one who couldn't make the changes. I have
on patient who comes to me chewing mint gum, and her remedies seem to work.
Sorry I was not loads of help you will have to make your own mind up on this
one.
