What Rx would you give a child who is a drama queen?? It is just that a patient yesterday mentioned that her daughter was a drama queen and I am sure at college there was a Rx for a child like this. Just a query out of interest!

Probably Platina - but have a look at all the haughty, superior, flirty,
likes to be on display type rx.

Thanks Sara and Joy. I've just got a feeling it was Ignatia but I don't know why.

Have not heard from Mum of the child with the itches - I will try to remember to phone her in the morning before I catch the plane to warmer climes. Have lots to tell you about my "emergency case but will type it up abroad when I have more time.

Hi Rochelle,

I think it would be good to have a description of what mum means by "drama
queen". Like Joy, I seem to recall Platina being described this way, *but*
I used to describe my own daughter that way, and she was *not* platina. In
her case it had to do with hypersensitivity to just about everything and a
craving for consolation, cuddling, attention. So every little bump was a
catastrophe, a stuffy nose sent her into howls of anguish, and a little hug
made everything alright again (maybe that was during her Puls period, I
forget). What brings on the drama, how does she play it out, and what helps
bring her back to center?

Thanks Jean, Tanya and Dr Roz. I wondered if Platina was the Rx. I actually gave her Phosphorus but a fortnight later there is no change with her Molluscum and there is with the Molluscum in her brother with the Rx I gave him which was Carc.

I'd look at Lach and Plat.
Both have the hauteur and passion and are dictatorial;
Lach has the desire to play and ambition for fame;
Plat has the desire for excitement, affectation and vanity.
