Dear Colleagues

Thank you all for your kind responses whether direct or on Minutus.

The main rubric or remedy help I am looking for is the issue of Cross Bite
(Bottom teeth forward of top teeth)
If you know a suitable rubric or have seen it in MM, pls let me know.

Incidentally there is a history of Spinal curvature in the father's family!

As far as the Teeth brushing / diet etc is concerned, all seems to be OK, it
is something with the teeth themselves.

[And yes they did get the Aspartame lecture - They have paid for it when
they come to see me ) ]

Soroush -- tough question.

Paul Herscu, in his book on the constitutional treatment of children, mentions under Tuberculinum that the teeth can be crowded and misaligned. Hoping to find a rubric, I plugged "Tuberculinum" and "Teeth" (also, then "Mouth" and "Face") into Radar -- but there were no appropriate rubrics to help find other possible remedies. But perhaps Tuberculinum would fit the case.... Anyway, it was an interesting exercise. Sorry it didn't bring up a repertory rubric or more than one potential remedy. Thanks for asking.

Hecla has in the MM - enlargement of maxillary bone (not quite the same
thing) and this general complaint might well be reflected in other rx such
as Symphytum, the Calcs, Phos and possibly even mother of pearl (forget the
MM name for this).

But as I suggested in calc phos sometimes you just have to opt for something
more general such as 'poor nutrition of bones', 'non union of bones' (the
jaw not being aligned correctly), 'bone diseases', 'osteoporus', 'slow
ossification' 'affinity as to where bones form sutures or symphysis' etc and
the like.

Even the reference to her being sporty is a good indication of Calc phos -
they tend to be active in this way as a distraction from their intellectual
powers which are generally quite weak.

Best to let the whole case lead you to the simillimum rather than get hung
up on one sx.
