Might be a good idea to have blood tests done to establish diagnosis.
Choice of remedy would be on modalities. I had pain ankles and hands last
year and queried Ross River. JEAN

Hello Shannon and friends,

I too had Lyme disease, never saw the tick bite (if there ever
was one). Some of the worst cases of Lyme disease have had no bites they
can remember and have had no bulls eye rash.
I think it is because the lyme critters got through the bodies defenses,
thus could make their mischief inside the body without resistance.

I believe the bullseye rash is an attempt of the body to wall off
the infection, thus using cortisone creams, etc
releases the critter systemically.

My prodromal period was almost 6 months or more, mild, low grade
intermittent fevers, lyme tests are very unreliable until you have a
whopping infection (enough critters to build up some kind of imune
reaction to them, and again, that only if your immune system is paying
attention. People with Lyme notoriously check out negatively on many of
the tests.

That neurological headache is terrible, characteristic of
Syphilis when it is metasticizing (they get it for 20 minutes or so, then
gone) I and other lyme sufferes often had it for months at a time.
Didn't know what it was for a long time, so tried eating aspirin,
tylenol, motrin to no avail. That is what drove me to homeopathy - those
crushing headaches up the back of my neck, over my right eye, dull
stupifying headaches. Add to those sx, chronic fatigue, memory
imparement (lapses of memory), heart palpitations, bells palsy for some,
anorexia for others, major muscle spasms, and the list goes on.

I am in a Lyme endemic area and I see lots of it. Like we always
say, and lots of time forget to remember, 'forget the Lyme symptoms' and
find out what triggered the attack. I cured one case with Staphasagra,
have a person who tested positive for Lyme now on Raahus tox and doing
fine. My own 'cure' was with Calc carb (it does disturb the calcium
ions) but that was not a constitutional for me, but the remedy I needed
for the mentals
ended most of the Lyme symptoms.

Good luck to you, keep us posted with your progress.

Warmly, Maria
