Apparently my nephew in Australia has one of these!! Is the consensus that he has it removed with a mastoidectomy or is it something homeopathy may be able to deal with. If so, if there are any homeopaths in Randwick north N.S.W 2031 please let me know!!!

If this is any help, in Hering cholesteatoma is mentioned with a 'verified by cure' for CALC CARB. You will find the reference on page 220 under 'skin'.
the term is also mentioned under skin for Calc phos, but not verified by cure.

I suppose the level of damage to the bone and tissue and the possibility of hearing loss needs to be assessed to see how quickly results may be needed.

I'm 1100kms from Sydney, but I'm sure there must be someone from Sydney on this list, or someone must know someone.

I've just found this on my Cara Pro after a wordsearch but it doesn't say what Rx!!! It was from Sankaran's Elements. I will have to dig out the book and see if I can find it!!


Once, there was a patient suffering from discharge of pus from the ear. He
had gone to an eminent E.N.T. surgeon who had diagnosed it as cholesteatoma,
and had advised an operation since there was no medical treatment for this
condition. The patient refused the operation and had come for Homoeopathy.
Under a homoeopathic prescription in three weeks his discharge stopped. Some
time later the ear specialist saw him and asked him why he had not turned up
for the operation. The patient explained that he was normal. So, the ear
specialist examined his ear and remarked with surprise, "It looks so clean,
as if someone has operated on you!" When the patient told that he had taken
homoeopathic medicine, the specialist was pleasantly surprised and developed
respect forHomoeopathy.

That sounds like a miracle. My daughter has it, she is 8 and is
going in for her 3 surgery. She had no symptoms, up until she had a
hearing test age 6. At that point her incompetant paediatrician put
her on 3 rounds of antibiotics, before he decided to send her to a
specialist, and only then was she diagnosed for cholesteatome. Now
she has less than 65 % hearing in her one ear. I hate medical
doctors and if there is any remedies to heal this please please let
me know!
