brain tumor

Post by Tanya Marquette »

dear all

i received a call from a woman with a brain tumor. she was diagnosed last year. have no idea
how long it has been developing. what i need to know is what other's experiences have been
in dealing with this type of malignancy. i will be seeing her next week and would like to have
a bit of a handle on probabilities of success.

i also am interested in experiences with hepatitis c, which seems to be one fo the new medical
fad interests. i am dealing with a friend who was told she had the antibodies for hep c, but does
not have the disease. now how did that happen!

Re the brain tumour I suggest you look at Dr R''s cancer book as he appears to have a lot of success with these. It actually depends on where they are and what type they are. I will try to dig out my seminar notes later.

Dear Tanya,

If you will be treating the woman with the brain tumor and plan to use Dr.
Ramakrishnan's plussing method, we'd like to invite you to join the
"plussing group" online. This is a group open to practitioners who are using
the "plussing method" to treat current cases. Our purpose is, by sharing
ongoing information about the patients' experiences with the treatment, to
enhance knowledge about using the plussing method. We request that
homeopaths who join the group post progress reports regularly, every two or
three weeks at least. In this way, we all learn more about what to expect
and how best to deal with the treatment variations. It provides a forum as
well as a support group for participating practitioners.

The present group has indicated its interest in welcoming a few additional
practitioners who are undertaking "Plussing method " treatments with one or
more patients, and we invite any Minutus members who would like to join the
Plussing Group on that basis to write back individually to me at this
address: rosemaryhyde@mindspring.com rather than replying to the whole
group.

Rosemary

Does anyone know if convulsions commencing in arm would be considered a
strange and rare symptom?(belladonna)

Also..another symptom which i haven't found yet...don't know if its common
after convulsion or related to chemo...a tingling in right arm and on face
that comes on only from touching with finger.

At the moment I've narrowed down the remedies to Bell, Op and secale cor.in
that order. I found somewhere on internet in some compilation of
keynotes..that secale has a mocking manner(to family members and others). And
while that is definately a part of this man's character...in a mild kind of
way..i wonder if that could be applied at all since mocking and sarcasm isn't
really an illness...and he has been this way for a long time, not something
since the illness.

Hi Carol,
When I find myself in this situation, I try looking at the case in
*both* ways--e.g. with the mocking "counted in", and with it "counted
out", and see which seems to hang together better.

On the one hand, a disease can only grow out of the state of prior
susceptibility, and you need to determine whether the "new" disease
does or doesn't represent a "change in remedy state" from the prior
state of health. If the convulsions developed as a result of trauma or
toxicity, then it might be a new, trauma-associated remedy that's
needed, and in that case you wouldn't rep characteristics that had been
there before.

But if the disease simply developed over time without any apparent
trigger, then it would seem likely that it's just a deepening level of
disorder--a progression of the chronic disease--but within the same
remedy picture. In that case you would use all available information
from the earlier case--and including a characteristic such as that,
which, tho not a "disease" in itself, is nonetheless characteristic of
the person's state, and gives clues to their susceptibility, "central
delusion", all of that. You'd also want to try to determine what's
*behind" the sarcasm--insecurity, contempt, desire to tease, whatever.)

At least, that is my understanding; I look forward to hearing others'!
Shannon

I sent the fellow this description of plum iod:
He must change his mental concepts, he lives in a wrong “culture”, the
completely

And he wrote back..."thats sounds about right."(and for him...this is a strong
affirmative)

Now what do i do? The reference was from someone who took plum iod 200c.(
"The remedy in this case is Plumbum iodatum. Plb-i was administered in C 200,
sometimes twice a day, followed by FC 1M3 once a day, then FC 5M sometimes
every third day – each dose carefully adapted to the effect of the given
remedy..." this was from a september,06 issue of interhomeopathy.

I don't what they are referring to with FC...is that just 1m of the plumbum?

How about if we just try 30c in water twice a day?
