Blood Pressure

I think put simply, the upper figure is the force with which the heart has
to pump the blood so that it goes around the body
and the lower figure is a measure of the resistance the flow encounters in
passing through the tissues and capillaries.
So a low lower figure may mean either little resistance in the tissue (good
news) or too thin a blood (no so good)
If the patient is reasonably healthy, then probably there is little to worry
about. Extremities should be reasonably warm.
But if the pt is suffering from any giddiness, or blackouts or weakness,
breathlessness etc, then care would need to be exercised.
