OFF-Topic - consideration for others /WAS: Homeopathic Books for Sale

Dear Donna,
I am quite aware that you are an intelligent being
-sorry you took personal offense where none was intended..
the point is that we *ALL* have better things to do than reading mail
that:
*SHOULD NOT* be posted to MINUTUS.
The old Lyghtforce list used to have a part of it's FAQ which suggested
-before sending email addressed to the LIST, ask yourself if the email
is suitable for sending to *hundreds* of people world-wide.
If not, then anyone's common-sense & common-courtesy should require that
s/he send the email only to the person it is appropriate for.
Please don't take it personally, but we have recently had a bunch of
folks asking for B.Jain's material, and now we have another similar
situation.
Has anyone noticed how H.B. suggests that anyone interested in receiving
extractions/documents he has which are too large to be posted contact
him at
*HIS EMAIL ADDRESS?*
Please, if you are posting something which is liable to generate
requests to you for OFF-list followups, could you follow H.B.'s example
?
For instance, if you wished to respond to this post OFFLIST, you would
send your reply to my address, dave@holistiq.com (or
dave@localcomputermart.com) and NOT to minutus@yahoogroups.com
If I wished to send this only to Donna, I could look below and very
quickly pick out her address and copy it into the area of the new email
which specifies the recipient [TO:]
So, please think and act accordingly .. it is not a matter of "time" (as
it takes perhaps an entire two seconds to address the email
appropriately)
-it is a matter of mutual consideration.
regards,
Dave Hartley www.holistiq.com
