Minutus

Hi all,
I have a 6 year old, healthy male Shih-Tzu, however this morning he woke
up and began shaking. The shaking carried on for quite a while. I gave
him Aconite 6c dissolved in water followed by Gelsemium 6c. The shaking
is better, but he is weak and not walking much. His appetite has not
been good for the past couple of days although he has been drinking
water regularly.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not much to go on but when I hear of a Shih-Tzu trembling, I always put
intervertebral disc (usually in the neck) problem high on the list. That
also fits with the not walking and eating. I would suggest having a
qualified individual do a physical/neurologic exam to get more details.

Hi all...

I took him to the vet yesterday and they did a physical exam on him...
everything looks normal but the vet said to keep an eye on him for the
next couple of days... the vet also said that it may have to do with
some sort of back injury, however my dog seems to be getting back to his
old self again!
