I saw the patient yesterday and the smell was there only slightly. I think I told you that when I saw her on 13th March there was no smell of boiled beef about her.

However she has been WELL for 3 weeks with only 1 bad day a week ago. Last time she had been well for a week with only 1 bad day. She is extremely pleased the way things are going. She is up until 11pm which is unheard of and is fine in the mornings. The chest and arm pains have gone. The only minor thing to her is that the diarrhoea which was once a day is now 3 times a day. She describes it as a soft unformed stool and is convinced that is expected after they removed part of the colon.

Now to admit what I prescribed!!! Before I got all the fantastic posts recommending and putting a case for a variety of remedies from Pyrogen to kali carb,. Cyclamen,Aurum Mur after I described the case to you and how I felt I wasn't getting anywhere I had already prescribed. I had gone by my initial instincts and how she described herself previously + the very sparkly eyes and the fact that she always leant forward. I gave Phos. 1M. I gave the 1M because I didn't want to give 30 because she had been given constant, continual 30s from a previous homeopath and I think that I had learnt my lesson giving her 200C potency. After the remedy she was better for 2 days as she always seemed to be after a remedy and then on the next 2 days "I was wrecked and felt destroyed all day". Now previously this would probably have continued i.e. be back to where she was but this time she was up and down for 2 weeks. I then remembered what I had given a previous patient with CFS (who has now recovered and is pregnant to her delight) and that was an adrenal support of Borage MT 5 drops 3 times a day. And it is this that she thinks is what has healed her!! When I reported seeing her last time although things were going the right way I still felt she needed a crutch and made her up a Bach Flower mixture of Olive, hornbeam, Gentian and Elm so she has also been taking this. I am not into giving sac lac. Yesterday I just gave her some more Borage MT and made up some more Flower Rx. Personally I think it was the Phosphorus that did it. But does it really matter if she thinks it is the Borage? We have a woman who has had a debilitating illness for 6 years and is now getting over it.

All the best
Rochelle
PS I still have all your posts just in case she goes down again. I studied them all so thank you again.
