A : The main symptoms of SARS are high fever (> 38° Celsius), dry cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties. Changes in chest X-rays indicative of pneumonia also occur. the above are incomplete symptoms of a common nature reported by allopaths.
This may help to identify the disease but is not complete enough to find
the remedies. What is needed is symptoms with locations, sensations,
modifications and concomitants. Boenninghausen did a group anamnesis for
typhoid in his Lesser Writings. He studied large group of cases (over 50).
He did not use it to find one remedy to cover all patients. He did it to
find a homogenous group of remedies that were most likely to treat and
prevent the disease in contacts. If he found a remedy that suited a person
in a house he sometimes would give that same remedy to the household
contacts as a prophylactic. One of the great things about homoeopathy is
one can always take the case on the spot and give the most similar remedy.
Nevertheless, the group anamnesis and nosodes are important in epidemics.
If this disease spreads to the masses such a group case will be available.
