13th March 2003
It is 3 weeks since I have seen her.
The smell of boiled beef was not there. I actually mentioned it to her and she said that as she came usually to me after breakfast she could not explain it. The whites of her eyes look quite blue today.
After she took the remedy she was much better in the afternoon and very positive. The following day she was a bit better and not so tired and then on the next 2 days she was "wrecked again"!! "I was destroyed all day". She has then been up and down until this week.
"I have had no chest pains since the remedy but my right arm still has the pain now and again. It is like a throbbing pain and comes and goes. It's there some part of everyday. It is there now." We did EFT on it and it went immediately!!
A week ago she picked up some Borage HT and has been taking 5 drops TID as an adrenal support.
"This week I have been better except for 1 day - I haven't been back to bed once. And have been staying up to 11pm. My husband is delighted. I don't feel as tied in the mornings."
"The septic fever was the hospital's fault. I went to hospital (1993) with pain and they said that it wasn't appendicitis and sent me home. 10 days later I was rushed back in with an appendix so swollen that it had adhered to the colon and so they had to remove 30cms of colon as well as the appendicitis. I was then absolutely fine. I have always had slight diarrhoea since then. They took a valve away which can't be replaced." She passes one stool a day. "I had my first child in 1994 and was fine. I had the second in 1996."
We then had a long conversation about how the depression all started. She didn't want to go to work because she had 2 children she wanted to look after. "I had a child minder who was lovely. I wanted to be a mum but mum but now I feel I should have done the minimum hours at work. I had worked for the tax office for 12 - 13 years. "She admits to feeling guilty because she wasn't working to bring in any money. She works part time now in a school office and they don't know anything about her problems so she must be disguising her tiredness when she goes into work. She desperately wants more ours there which may well be a possibility in a few weeks time.
Analysis
Things appear to be going the right way. With my last CFS patient I remember it was up and down at first. I also remembered that I gave her Borage MT which is why I started this patient on it. I feel that she still needs a crutch and I am not into giving sac lac so I have made up a Bach Flower Rx mixture of Olive, Hornbeam, Gentian and Elm for her to take. The amazing thing is that the smell has gone but as far as I know that is not in the remedy I gave her.
Prescription
Bach Flower mixture 4x a day. Continue with the Borage HT.
