Baby girl - 9 months - Calc constitution - is being given the odd Cham 6
for teething has this weird
protuberance on her anus that has grown rapidly in the last 3 days. It
looks like a wide flap of skin - a
skin tag?- to me. She was taken to the doctor tonight who hadn't a clue,
said it might be a wart and said
come back in a fortnight. Mum is not happy with this and is worried
about how large it will get! The
child is fine except when she knows she is going to pass a stool she has
little cry as if something is
hurting. This is a lot better than it was as a week or so ago when on
holiday she was hysterical. At
that time she had a vomiting and diarrhoea bug as did all the family.
Her skin is clear (she used to have
eczema), the stool is normal or the usual greenish soft when a baby is
teething. She has a very slight
cough (also associated with teething). I have been treating this child
since she was a few weeks old for
the odd thing. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Hi Rochelle,
I haven't seen anything exactly like this. Maybe some type of
undifferentiated wart. Sycotic/syphilitic perhaps. You did not ask for
repertory help, but some analysis below out of curiosity and hoping it
may save you some trouble. No conclusions drawn. Complete rep used.
Calc has a strong sycotic component. Maybe the growth will respond to
repetition of Calc? Or maybe some other sx that come out in further
questioning will point to a remedy which has been revealed by the acute
or these rubrics. Was the ezcema suppressed or cured?
IN looking at some rubrics, the following seemed to possibly be of
benefit, in case you havent already looked at them:
MIND; SHRIEKING, screaming, shouting; general; stool; before (SRI-919,
G64) (2) : bor., rhus-t.
GENERALITIES; DENTITION; ailments from (SRII-154) (45) : Acon., aeth.,

Borax has ails from dentition (bold), rhus-t is of course a big

However, might also want to consider rubrics like this one; but this
does not include rhus-t or bor:

the acute ailment:
