Vitamins etc

Hi Colleagues

One of the problems of taking vitamins & minerals as supplements is
concentration of the stuff and its sudden rate of release.

Let us imagine a boiled sweet!

How many apples or pound of grapes, dates etc would you need to eat to take
in the equivalent amount of sugar?
So by taking a boiled sweet we immediately put the pancreas under pressure
in a way it was NOT designed to do.

When we take a Vit A supplement, how many carrot equivalents is it? Can you
eat that many carrots with out suffering stomach problems and indigestion?

I remember Sheilagh Creasy giving us a list of toxicity symptoms from excess
of vits etc. Any one interested, please email me PRIVATELY and I will patch
it through to you.

Basically we get back to the old question of maintaining causes - as has
been said, if nutrition is not adequate, it needs to be looked at with care
and the patient needs to be informed/educated. As is said 'you cannot make a
silk purse out of a sow's ear!'

Good healing
Soroush

Dear List:
I too would be interested in the toxicity symptoms of vitamins/minerals

e-mail:(jillt@globalserve.net).

I like to look at nutrition from the point of view of "reducing the
obstacles to cure". When there is a clear imbalance regardless of its
source... diet, stress, lifestyle ...; this clearly lies in the way of a
true cure. Further I also believe imbalances with the physical body can
mask the true symptom picture (instead of the other way around), by
diverting our attention away from the true state that requires
homeopathic intervention.
For example someone with an underactive stomach....with such symptoms of
burning, indigestions, bloating resulting in mal-absorption of protein
and calcium (to start). If this individual's lifestyle is such that
coffee, shiftwork, and fast foods have been the mainstay, some repair
work needs to be done to once again start absorbing nutrition from food
(and/or supplements)and to build up where losses have occurred. If a
body does not have what it takes on a physical plain to heal, as
wonderful as Homeopathy is, I fail to see how any remedy can work its
wonders.
Regards,
JEM

Hi All,

Have been trying to dig out from under a pile of accumulated emails
-a number of which -from this group, contain "ME TOO" one-liners which
are not politely considered suitable for posting to a list of hundreds
of people.

When you are sending something that shouldn't be sent to all of the
hundreds of listees, could you please send only to the one individual to
whom you are actually attempting to communicate?

It is SO easy!
