Dear Members,
I would like to tell you that I am really proud of B.Jain Publishers Pvt. Ltd. who has spent their life in contributing to Homeopathic Literature. I am really not sure if most of you now this company. They have published more than 1500 books and brought all these books at such an economical rate and advancing with the times. People can now shop online also at their book store www.bjainbooks.com . I really appreciate for all the efforts of B. Jain Publishers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what I got from one of their catalogue:
B. Jain Publishers (P) Ltd. began its publishing legacy around 35 years back with books on Homoeopathy. We initiated this by publishing old and rare books (Allen, Boericke, Kent, Hahnemann, Farrington, Clarke, Hering, etc.) which were free from copyright by bringing them out of the libraries of few elite doctors and reprinting them for the general public at a very economical price. This policy to make the homoeopathic literature available at a reasonable price has been one of the greatest stimulants for the growth of homoeopathy worldwide. Thus, for so many people the existence of B. Jain’s publishing house made the difference between being able to study homoeopathy or not at all!
Homoeopathic literature is a vast treasure which is filled with all kinds of gem-stones and crystals in the form of books. Though all of these are valuable and precious, some are very popular these days while others have been forgotten by most of us. But some people know their worth and quality and use these less known but very useful books frequently to have that extra edge over other physicians. The aim of B. Jain Publishers is to take out these under-the-keep gems, polish and revamp them by adding new features relevant to these modern times (All the spellings are corrected according to the Dorland’s Medical Dictionary. Also, the drug names and abbreviations are made according to the Synthesis. This is done to standardize and maintain uniformity) and improving the layout and print quality, so as to provide every homoeopath the best of homoeopathic literature without tempering with the original books.
Some of the books which B. Jain has refurnished are as follows:
• Condensed Homoeopathic Materia Medica & Repertory (John Henry Clarke)
• A Study on Materia Medica (N.M. Choudhuri)
• Pathak’s Materia Medica and Repertory
• Allen’s Keynotes Rearranged & Classified (H.C. Allen)
• Lectures on Clinical Materia Mdica with Gist of Each Lecture (E.A. Farrington)
• Hahnemann’s Materia Medica (Materia Medica Pura and Chronic Diseases Combined and Rearranged)
• Hering’s Guiding Symptoms.
• A Treatise on Diseases of the Skin
