Mac/PC Advice (off topic)

Dear Shannon, you will need Microsoft Office 2001 if you have Mac OS9 or 9/2
and it will convert everything but then you will need Microsoft Office for
PC to use it all.
If you had Mac OS10 it would read all PC files anyway. (But would still need
Microsoft Office for Mac - if you had an imac that would be installed for
free)
If your technical issues are that of a Mac not dealing with PC data very
well then Microsoft Office for Mac would solve all that and so much cheaper.
