Infection from waxing- update

Firstly thanks for the replies I have had offlist.
I have seen the patient today after giving her Pyrogen 30 yesterday which
resolved the "flu like " symptoms and she slept very well.
The leg has changed. The pustules are bigger and are individual with red
around them. The pus is a greyish green colour. The leg compared to the
other one is redder - not bright red and is swollen. When I pressed it felt
oedematous but was not as shiny and as hard as I would
expect for Apis. We shall see. She has had this happen before, years ago and
it was treated with antibiotics . Interesting that it has just come out on
the right shin and nowhere else she had waxed.
OK so I gave her a Gunpowder 9x (the only potency I had) and told her to
get another couple down her tonight and to phone me tomorrow evening. I have
also given her some Sulphur, Hepar, Apis to keep in.
I also gave her some Calendula herbal tincture to swab the leg with since I
read in Clarke :-
Canon Upcher finds that occasional doses of Hepar highly increase its
effects.
Calendula externally is also complementary.
In herself she is fine except for her maintaining conditions which were
prescribed for a couple of months ago and are resolving.
