Ricin - isopathy - Homoeopathy

Why the 'Scare' in UK?

About 10 days ago the agents raided a flat in North London and found a small
qty of ricin. (Exactly how much we don't know)

Some men supposedly asylum seeker from North Africa (Algeria) have been
arrested.

Then two days ago the police raided a flat in Manchester in search of some
other person in this connection.

There not only they found the person they were looking for, but also two
other guys BIG on the list of wanted AlQaedeh suspects.

These were secured and then when unarmed police and investigation officers
were searching and questioning, one of the 2 suspects broke free and ran
into the kitchen area of the flat and armed himself with a knife. In the
process trying to re-arrest him, one senior officer got killed and some
others were injured.

No major qty of ricin has been found and no info about the quality/qty of
ricin has been made public.

So VERY conveniently we have a potential terrorist base and it has been
linked to AlQ. (It is the OIL stupid!)

There is no real scare and I guess if you were to ask people in London if
they knew anything about it, not a lot would know a great deal!

However, it may be an idea to repertorise the general symptoms of ricin
poisoning to be ready! Just in case!!??
Don't forget that although it is easy to extract, it is not easy to control
and release/contamination can kill the people making it.
So it is beyond kitchen chemistry!
A question came up earlier on about using isopathy - my understanding is
that although isopathy may work for chronics with a known substance
causality, there is no evidence to show that it works in acute cases. For
example I don't think Ars poisoning will respond to Ars in potency!
