You are absolutely right that the D stands for Decimal and all potencies
that we know as the X scale, are called D in Europe.

				Unknown scale of Potency

				Dear List,
Yesterday one of my friends returned from Germany with a liquid potency of
Medorrhinum. I had asked him for 10M, but the potency printed on the bottle
is D100 and at one side "N1" is subscribed. According to my friend, the
store keeper there told him that this scale is not to be found in Germany
any where, and the store keeper, did some mathematics on the computer and
came out with this potency. He also said that this potency would be ordered
first and then made available. He stayed there for a week and finally got
this potency.
What I think is that "D" stands for decimal preparations and if so, the
potency in this vial is 100 X, am I correct in this understanding? Please
enlighten. Take care. BTW, the address of the pharmacy from where he bought
this vial is...Deutsche Homoopathic-union Karlsruhe
