Want to cast my agreement with Tanya here. Tho "other interests" have
worked hard at squashing homeopathy, without the infighting it would have
been/would be a much harder task.

Even here on these lists, whenever we speak derisively of each other, or of
other homeopaths, we weaken ourselves both as individual practitioners
(can't learn from those we won't listen to) and as a group (newcomers see
the fighting and run!) and as a profession (energy that goes into
attack/defense is not available for learning, teaching, practicing).

But the *issues* are very real, beliefs passionately held, and stakes
sometimes high -- so what to do?

Personally, I feel that "united we stand, divided we fall" is a good
starting point. From there we need to look at what it means to be "united"
also with those with whom we disagree, and to approach problems in ways that
foster unity and understanding within the profession.

(That said, it is certainly *also* important that we can *say* we disagree
with a person or a practice!!!! Can't learn from people who aren't allowed
to express an opinion...)
