Hi Chris,

There were some teething problems with the installation program for the
Boenninghausen's Therapeutic Pocketbook software addition to RADAR.

I believe these are nearly cleared up, and you should receive your software
before too long - try contacting your sales rep.

Boenninghausen Software Program

Hello,

Some time ago a new software program containing the 1846 Therapeutic
Pocketbook was recommended on these lists.

I've had this on order for some time, have heard nothing, and none of my
enquiries are answered. Does anyone have the program? Is anyone else alive
out there? Am I really on my own?

Thanks,
Chris

CARA Pro includes Boenninghausen (repertory & MM) and their service is
excellent. I also have KHA's Reference Works, and I don't even bother using
it anymore. Cara has everything I need and their support is immediate.
They don't pay me a commission. It's just that I was a software analyst in
my previous life and I think it's important to support the companies that
make life easier for us instead of harder.

Hello Shirley,

Does CARA Pro include the Therapeutic Pocketbook? It sounds like you're
referring to Boger-Boenninghausen's Repertory and MM. If it is the
Therapeutic Pocketbook, whose version and how accurate is it? Does it
include Remedy Relationships? Does it sit on a Kentian repertorial template,
if so how does this work? Already there have been some versions of the TPB
that have many inconsistancies in the grading values and complete omission
of several rubrics, - this is apart from software gliches.

Hello Chris,

I don't know the answers to your questions. Someone from CARA will need to
address them.

Hi Chris,

Here is what Cara has:

1. Yes -- we include Boger-Boenninghause'n Repertory in CARA

2. The full name of the Book is " Boenninghausen's Characteristics Materia Medica and repertory" by C. M. Boger.

3. C. M.Boger was one of the most trusted and thorough students of Boenninghausen. This repertory is based on the original work "Repertory of the Antipsoric Remedies".

4. The repertory includes following works of Boenninghausen
a. Therapeutic Pocket Book
b. Repertory of Antipsoric medicines
c. Repertory of medicines which are not antipsoric
d. Sides of body
e. Repertory of Intermittent fever
f. Repertory of whooping cough

5. Volume wise -- Therapeutic pocket book (TPB) has around 150 pages and this (BBCR) has 1200 pages.

Warm regards,
