Disease ?

I note that once again we are getting bogged down in trying to split hairs
and causing confusion unnecessarily.

When someone becomes unwell their VITAL FORCE is deranged.

This derangement is what Hn calls Disease. We have Acute and Chronic
Diseases. Some Chronics have an acute initial phase.

Some influences can derange vital forces either individually or universally
depending on the susceptibility of the population - to produce acute
diseases.
Where we have an epidemic (population being affected universally) we now
know are often caused by certain organisms. But even so, they do not affect
everyone exactly the same.

For example, do 10 children presented with 'chicken pox' all behave in the
same manner? No they do not. We use this differences to treat them
individually.

If we are treating epidemic cases, it is found that some few remedies will
treat the totality of presenting cases. Each of these will have its own
peculiarity which can be ascertained through a few quick questions or
observations.

Allopaths use names to differentiate a set of symptoms commonly observed
from another set. Hence Chicken pox, measles etc.
But in homoeopathy, these terms are irrelevant, our remedies can be used to
treat any of these so called diseases acting on specific individuals.

A question was asked a few days ago about the use prophylactics. All
homoeopathic remedies are capable of producing a strong artificial disease
that lasts a short while.
In effect it is like someone taking a training course. A short walk can
strengthen you, a long long walk can exhaust one to the point of death. The
more training you have had the more of something you can cope with.

That is the reason why people who have gone through a number of 'properly'
conducted provings feel very well after the proving is completed.

So we can use prophylactics to prepare the VF for what is to come. Even for
shocks as in the pre-surgical use of Arnica.

At the point of being laborious, we do NOT treat disease names - we treat
the set of symptoms produced in our patient and presented by the patient in
their totality (mental/emotional and physical).
