How about this for a symptom?

I've found a rubric
Murphy - Lungs

EXPECTORATION, balls, in shape of (10)

1 agar, 2 arg-n, 2 coc-c, 1 lyc, 1 med, 1 ph-ac, 2 sil, 1 squil, 3 STANN, 1 sulph

Phatak - Phatak

EXPECTORATION, BALLS OF, BITTER GREEN (1)

1 med

but not much else!!!

Anyone which to comment on this symptom - please do. It has nothing to do with the PC which was back pain with spasms into the groin, buttocks and pelvic area + missed heart beats + tachycardia attacks which he has had ever since he can remember. I only prescribed Rhus Tox 6 for the modalities of the back pain as I was going away for a fortnight when I saw him but am now back. I think that constitutionally he is Sulphur.

Hi Rochelle

I have heard of this in people who show allergies to milk - milk products. It seems to acculate in the tonsils. You could ask him about milk, cheese etc.
I was told Lac-h has this in the proving, but I have not checked.

Glenda

Thanks Glenda. I will check out about milk when I see him next.

Robyn - I loved the rubric
EXPECTORATION:
Ball and rushes into mouth; feels like a round

I wonder!!!!! The problem is that it is a round ball!! I also liked the (Med) This might be more it.

Guess what - I was looking at Clarke's MM at Silica and found this:-

Cough and sore throat, with expectoration of little granules like shot, which,
when broken open, smell offensively (like Phosphor, excepting the latter
remedy has a hot feeling in throat: H. N. G.).

I wonder if this is what I am looking for?

Dear All,
A patient told me she has a new symptom- purple spots on her left labial lip which look like burst blood vessels. It is not bothering her in any way and she is not sure how long it has been there.

(Her PC is chronic acne on her face and neck which she has had for many years and painful periods which make her vomit. The latter is much better after Foll. The former is still there.)

Any thoughts on the purple spots?

Regards,
Rochelle

my husband works with paint chemicals...sprays for trim, etc Two nights ago he
lay down in bed to go to sleep and he saw a rainbow of colors...(phos, bell
for two) and then he fainted and woke up the next morning. Could this be an
allergic response to the chemicals? no other symptoms and he felt fine the
next morning. anyone know if this is an indication of something else?

I would worry about the toxic chemicals involved as paint solvents-
he might check to know what he is working with, and find a way to
reduce or stop the chronic exposure.

Namaste,
Irene
